The machine chosen for this application is an RCS three-roller bending machine
It underwent validation and comparison tests against machines from other manufacturers. It was competing with four-roller bending machines.
Its prebending and minimum roll bending diameter performance, as well as the perfect post-bending geometry, were decisive factors for the customer: 40 mm flat edges for a 40-mm thickness of S355, 495-mm diameter for a roller diameter of 460 mm.
