Rolling machine for equipment – buckets manufacturing
JCB India Limited is a leading manufacturer of earthmoving and construction equipment in India. Established as a Joint Venture in 1979, it is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of JC Bamford Excavators, UK, and has five world-class manufacturing facilities in India.
The two Pune Business Heavyline plants include the manufacture of excavators, loaders, compactors and fabrications for the JCB Group.

The technical response from Picot experts
Picot symmetric hydraulic bending machines were the first to mass-produce buckets, replacing the traditional press process.
This gave our customer a major increase in productivity. The machines are often in high demand, especially with the use of high-strength sheet metal.
Our customers can nevertheless count on the repeatability of the process because the rollers can be positioned to within 0.2 mm.
We are also developing numerical control for easier programming. The new Easyroll CNC allows for springback in the programme and can be programmed via a learning feature, by drawing the profile or the pre-saved shape, or using a .DXF or .CSV file.
