Benefits :
The rolling of honeycomb structure is very difficult. The 3 rollers type RCS (with 3 motorized rollers) are the only ones able to bend this material without damaging it.
Picot machines are very popular in aeronautics (Airbus, Safran, …) for their performance as well as their reliability. It is important to be able to work on machines where the failure rate is almost zero.
